The short version
This site exists to show work, sell Film Grain Brain software, and let people get in touch. It collects as little as possible and shares nothing for advertising.
What the contact form collects
When you use the contact form, you choose what to send: typically your name, email address, and a message. That information is used only to read and reply to your inquiry.
The form sends your message through the site’s email-sending provider, Resend, into the studio inbox. Your message is then handled by the studio’s email provider while in transit and storage, the same as any email you would send. If the form is ever unavailable, the page falls back to opening your own email client, in which case your message goes directly to the studio the same way.
Resource and Brain Signals signups
If you request a free resource or join Brain Signals for release links, the site collects the name and email address you submit and sends that request to the studio inbox.
Those details are used to send the requested resource, release-link availability, related editing/workflow notes, and the low-volume Brain Signals email. You can ask to be removed at any time by replying or emailing the studio directly.
Analytics and cookies
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. It uses Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that is cookieless and collects no personal data: only aggregate, anonymous figures like page views and referrers, used to understand general traffic. Nothing identifies you as an individual.
Software purchases
When you buy software from the Store, checkout, payment details, receipts, file delivery, license keys, and customer-portal recovery may be handled by the hosted payment provider named on the product page or checkout page.
Film Grain Brain LLC receives enough purchase information to deliver the product, provide support, process refunds, and maintain a normal record of the sale. Full card details are handled by the payment provider, not by this website.
Your choices
You can ask what information is held about you, request a correction, or request deletion at any time. Reach out through the contact page and it will be taken care of.
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a normal record of correspondence. You can ask to have your message and details deleted at any time.
Changes to this notice
If the way this site handles information changes, this page will be updated. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
