Terms of Use
General terms for buying and using Film Grain Brain software. Last updated: June 17, 2026.
Who these terms cover
These terms cover software products sold by Film Grain Brain LLC through this website and hosted checkout providers. Product-specific store pages may add requirements, platform details, or product-specific policies.
Software license
Unless a product page says otherwise, buying a Film Grain Brain software product gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use that product on devices you own or control.
You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or assets except where law gives you a right that cannot be limited.
Purchases and delivery
Products are digital downloads. Checkout, receipts, file delivery, license keys, and customer-portal recovery may be handled by a third-party payment provider named on the product page or checkout page.
You are responsible for checking the product requirements before purchase, including operating system version, hardware requirements, and any permissions needed by the app.
Refunds
Software purchases have a 14-day refund path unless a product page says otherwise. See the Refund Policy for the current process.
Support
For purchase, download, license, refund, or product support, contact contact@filmgrainbrain.com. Include the product name, order email, and a short description of the issue.
No warranty
Software is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Film Grain Brain LLC works to make products stable and useful, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation on every system.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Film Grain Brain LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of its software. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product.
Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated as products, checkout providers, or support processes change. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA.
