Accessibility
A living statement about making the site easier to read, navigate, and use.

The goal
Film Grain Brain wants film, design, software, and support information to be usable by as many people as possible. We design the site toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, with WCAG 2.2 AA as our goal where we control the experience.
This statement describes the practices and known limitations of the site today. Some third-party services and device-level flows are outside the studio’s control.
Current measures
The site is developed with the following practices in mind:
- semantic headings, landmarks, links, buttons, and form labels;
- keyboard access, visible focus treatment, and responsive layouts;
- text alternatives for meaningful images and descriptive labels for controls;
- color and spacing choices that keep reading order and hierarchy clear;
- reduced-motion behavior where motion is decorative or not required for the task;
- plain-language support routes that do not require an account.
Known limits
Some pages use cinematic imagery, animated film-strip details, poster viewing, or other visual treatments. Some media may be decorative, while third-party embeds, hosted checkout, email-management pages, and operating-system permission flows remain partly outside the studio’s control.
If a particular page, image, form, or interaction creates a barrier, please report the exact URL and what you were trying to do. That detail helps the studio reproduce and fix the issue.
Feedback and help
Email contact@filmgrainbrain.com with “Accessibility” in the subject, or use the contact page. Include the page address, the device or assistive technology if relevant, and the result you expected.
The studio will review each report, look for a practical workaround, and prioritize fixes based on impact. If you need information in another format, ask and the studio will do its best to provide it.
