How to install an update
Back up important projects, check the release requirements, and close your editors. Run the newer signed installer, then reopen your editor. Updates should replace the existing product, not add another copy. If an effect is missing or duplicated, stop and contact support rather than deleting plug-in files.
Downloading does not update an installed copy automatically. Keep your previous installer if you need to return to it, and check compatibility before opening newer projects in an older version.
